Mega Giveaways and a Linky!

This morning I was checking into Facebook and noticed that I missed TONS of flash freebies and other freebies right before the year ends. I found a linky party and some mega giveaways I want to share with you.

Miss Math Dork and her other colleagues from The Teachers Studio (Meg) and 4mulafun (Jennifer) are having an awesome $25 gift card giveaway to TPT or Amazon or even Starbucks. As a teacher sometimes you just need your extra shot in the morning.

Have you entered this Mega Giveaway yet?

Well you have T minus 13 hours to get your bid in the Clip Art group and the 3rd-5th grade group. I could use the clip art for more creations. What are you creating lately? Maybe I can get some ideas to kick start my creations.

And here is the linky party I mentioned from An Educator's Life that you can download new ideas to jump start your mind for the new year with your students!

There are tons of FREE products to download some are even marked by grade level! And if you keep scrolling you can find the giveaways to enter too!

Also remember that my December Holidays: Beginning Sounds are still on sale in my TPT for $1 until 12/31/13.

Get them for next year or use them in January to review.

Happy New Year and Enjoy!

Do you use Technology? You have a chance to be a WINNER!!

I have returned from my mini vacay and I wanted to share with you the post from my blogger exchange partner. If you remember, my partner was Jayne from Smart Kids. She wrote a post about all the goodies I sent her if you want to see it. Also she gave me a shout out about my new product, thanks Jayne!

(You can win it if you keep reading...)

How is everyone doing? I will be attending a Title 1 workshop today... one that I don't even know if I got in to. It was said that the office was calling those who didn't get into the workshop, I didn't get a call so I am hoping that I am on the list. They had to turn a lot of people down because they were only hoping for 450 but got over 600 teachers requesting in... I guess that is the response you get when you offer teachers a STIPEND to come learn how to help their students better. So I have that for 2 days until about 5pm. Plus we have our school retreat on Thursday. I know I will just be plain exhausted by the time Friday rolls around.

Don't forget about The Polished Teacher and her HUGE giveaway...

Plus I missed my Clutter-Free Classroom post yesterday but make sure to check out her posts, hit refresh so you can grab some Flash Freebies!
There is also a linky party going on now: Teacher Week @ Blog Hoppin'. Yesterday was Let's Talk About Me. How many times do you really get to talk about yourself when the school year rolls around? Well now is your chance to tell about yourself to the bloggers of Blogland and read about other teachers as well. Check out the schedule too so you know when to link up!

I just finished that STEM workshop last week and I have been looking for ways to incorporate it more on a kindergarten level in most of our upcoming SOLs. How do you incorporate STEM? (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Do you teach the other parts of the word STEM, other than science and math? I am looking forward to introducing my students to more of the engineering side of STEM this year while incorporating science and math too.

**I will choose a random winner on Friday, leave a comment with your email and the answer to this question: Name a technology that you use in your classroom but it has to be something that DOES NOT need to be plugged in... I will give you a hint, think of materials in the classroom. So I bet you are wondering what you are trying to win, huh?? Well if you can name one technology that you use that DOES NOT need to be plugged in or hooked to electricity, I will give the winner a copy of my new product, Farm Detective: Sight Words Edition. (see pics at top of post)

I can't wait to hear about all the "technology" you use in your classroom. Have a great day and the rest of the week... Enjoy1

Favorite Pins!

I feel as if I have been blogging all day but really I have just been updating one post. I've also been working on my Liebster Award, that will be posted tomorrow as I am already at the 2 blog posts limit. Anywho, on to my Favorite Pins for this week.

From First Grade Smiles

I might actually get into the spirit of making silhouettes with my kids this year. Every President's Day the teachers around me make their silhouettes and I just admire, because really they just take too much work. But this way (might be costly) I might try it. Thanks Tori Spelling!

I am starting to see more and more mustaches around. I was in the Hobby Lobby the other day and they had I Love Mustaches scrapbooking paper. It was neat, I'm not bold enough to have it as a classroom theme yet (check out Kindergarten Smorgasboard to find lots of mustaches) but maybe as a bulletin board.

Donuts for Dads, a Father's Day Celebration. I am guilty of not honoring the dads like I should. I make these great Mother's Day gifts but when Father's Day rolls around, I am just trying to get packed up and out of school and Father's Day stuff gets pushed to the side. But this is such a cute idea I had to share. Look at those cute Men's shirt & tie paper bags... inside are the donuts for Dad. :)

Don't forget I am still collecting Giveaway Donations until Sunday July 21st. My 2nd Blogiversary Giveaway is set to begin Monday July 22nd! :) Thank you to those who have already contributed, it's set to be a fun time! Remember, I just added a new tab on my blog: Freebie Finds. From now on, that's where I will post the freebies. I added quite a few today! :)

And I leave you with my last favorite pin! Enjoy! :)

A break plus lots of catching up to do! TOO!

It seems as if it is pretty difficult to get back into blogging when you take like 3 days off. But alas, I needed to get back into the swing of things because I missed it. In my absence, a lot of giveaways have been going on. I hope you have at least found some to enter. Plus I even found some freebies.
While I was "away" (only in the house, not touching the computer) I keep going over my classroom set-up in my head. I do also have a pencil drawn classroom too that I erase all over every time I find something in blog land I want to try. I should do it like Debbie Diller said and just use post its... that was last year's model. I want to revamp my teacher's desk... which isn't really a desk because I got rid of mine and now I share it with my small group table. I just want something functional that I will use. I am one of those people that find something to try but might have a difficult time sticking to it. Has anyone given up their teacher desk? And if so, how do you organize it? For those who still have your teacher's desk, how do you keep it organized? My main problems are where to put my stuff for the week, where to put/organize my originals and where do my kids turn in their work? I can't seem to use the Monday through Friday book box or drawer system, so of course my table fills up with files to copy. My kids last year did have a bin to put their work in, but I didn't check it often. And my originals got tossed wherever I could find a place for them... So any insight I would love!

So on to my "likes" in Bloglovin'... I'm trying not to have so many pictures so it will not be EXTRA long as I have A LOT to catch you up to speed on (or rather to catch myself up).

Tax Free State List from Surviving a Teacher's Salary. Here's her tips about Office Depot.
**Be on the lookout for Tales of Frogs & Cupcakes 1,000 Facebook Fans Giveaway... might offer some flash freebies!! Freebies only are from 10am-1pm (CST)!

Freebies, Giveaways and a linky party!!

The title is an exact replica of my new Pinterest Board, check it out if you want. I wanted to update you on what I found in Blogworld... LOTS goodies for today. Remember my giveaway and sale end today in 12 HOURS. Check out my post {here}.

Anywho... on to more goodies! I was reading a post from Our K Crew Rocks and she was talking about Parent Tips {post 1post 2}. She had this wonderful info sheet for parents about Building a Reader at home posted but only the picture, but she did know the name of the creator. So I did some digging (love Google) and found the post from Kayla at Primary Junction. And get this! She has a Spanish version too, all FREE!

I know that I am trying my best to prepare for the Spanish-speaking population that will be taking over our grade level by storm, what with a school closing.

Remember Mrs. Russell is still having her Blogiversary Celebration, Day 3! Stop in to snag some of her freebies and look back on Day 1 and Day 2 posts as she has some Forever Freebies named.

Also remember those Christmas in July ladies are still going strong. It is only Day 3 of the adventure and already I have found some goodies. Check out Erica Bohrer's First Grade for her sale goodies. And make sure to check out Growing Kinders page too for her Zero the Hero book Facebook freebie!

I found a new blog called Good Enough Teacher (2nd grade) and she is hosting several giveaways... 5 weeks of giveaways in fact! Check out her blog to find the giveaway for Week 1. Plus she's a newbie blogger with less than 60 followers, go show her some love.:)

Did you know that Mel from Graphics From the Pond has stopped her Premium Graphics Club? To show their appreciation, several bloggers are honoring the Graphics Club with a Linky Party. Stop by and link up or just check out what other bloggers have created with clip art from Graphics from the Pond.

It is that time again, Alphabet Letter Exchange. It seems that during the summer is when teachers are able to plan these fun and exciting class exchanges. The kids enjoy decorating the letters and I have always enjoyed getting mail at school. And when you are excited the kids get excited too.:) Stop by First Grade Found Me to sign up in the Alphabet Letter Exchange (its an Adventure!), sign up ends August 1st.

Primary Buzz has a new FREEBIE, 3-D shape posters. She also linked up to another blog (a new one for me) to showcase one of her freebies. Stop on over and check out Primary Buzz's freebie plus follow another blog, Sparking in Kindergarten

Live, Laugh, I Love Kindergarten has reached 500 Followers! Woohoo and congrats. So of course she is having a giveaway to celebrate. And the prizes are two of my favorites and I am sure yours too: Teachers Pay Teachers and Target! Head on over and enter in her giveaway so you will win some of your loves too.

It's Day 2 of First Grade Critter Cafe week of giveaways. Stop on over and enter to win some great products. There's a winner each day until July 13th. And I just love her chalkboard signs showcasing each prize you could win.

I found another new blog, Mrs. Brown Loves Bookworms. She writes posts about books to share in class. She has only like 30 Bloglovin' followers, check her out and start following.

And I almost forgot about Miss Kindergarten's Try it for FREE Tuesday. So stop on in and check out the cute things that you can download for FREE for Today, July 9th only. I even saw something from Mel D (Seusstastic Classroom Inspirations).

Well, if you made it to the end of the post Congrats! I even saved a few that I found for tomorrow as I kept thinking you would get too tired to read any more of my post. I wonder how long is too long? Never mind, please stop me if you feel my giveaways and freebies posts have gotten too long. I totally missed my 10:30am posting deadline and now I may even miss the 11am one too. It is just so addicting. And this is just going off of what I LIKED at 8:30am this morning, I am afraid to see what else has popped up in Bloglovin' since then. Well that will be for a post tomorrow. Enjoy!
