 I've been moving slow today... just hoping that the day would slow down and not move as fast. I don't want next week to be here already. August goes in a whirlwind for me! This might help me to better organize all those progress monitoring papers I have to keep (for what reason after we have put scores on... I don't know). And I like that the kids can fill in the chart themselves and see their progress.

I bought 2 of the 3-drawers when they were on sale but I couldn't remember what I really wanted them for. I couldn't find the idea in my notes anywhere except on my classroom map. Yes I have a map... I map out my classroom every year as I am a visual person and need to see all the parts before saying I want to change something. But now I have found a post from the Organized Classroom Blog (Charity is awesome!) that might help me understand what to do with my drawers:

It seems as if my body always says "oh, you're finally relaxed, it's a great time to have a cold!" P.S. I had a GREAT time at the VA Blogger Meet-up by the way. It is so awesome to go meet other bloggers face to face and talk together. Plus I didn't feel bad that I was not able to attend the  Vegas meetup and getting an Erin Condren gift certificate because our masters of ceremonies had a surprise up their sleeve... And it is the best gift you could have given me as I've been dying to take on the experience and stop watching the short YouTube clips that just TEAAAASEE ME!

        Thanks SO MUCH HEIDI!! I cannot wait to pop in my gift and watch and learn myself first. Morning meeting time with the kinders this year is going to be AWESOME!!!

  Yup, when Karen from Mrs. Stamp's Kindergarten told all of us at the table that we would all get our chance to pick a gift from Heidi from Heidisongs.com I was ECSTATIC! I am a follower of Heidisongs but I haven't made the plunge of owning the CDs or DVDs. Well, I was the 3rd person to pick and I got my first Heidisongs DVD. Woohoo!

Celebrating my Blogiversary Right!

 Hello all, I hope you are enjoying your summer and entering giveaways left and right. Yes I said it that way because there are so many good delicious giveaways happening all throughout blog land.
