Back to school...phooey! No, no we won't go!

"Back to School"... it is that time for some teachers already but not for me yet. But the time is fast approaching. And while it is coming up faster than a speeding train I have found some relief in sight. Giveaways! If you haven't figured it out now, I love giveaways! Did you see the new collab blog out in Blogland? It's called The Teacher Tribune. And 20 bloggers have banned together to host a blog hop and a daily giveaway. I Teach K... but I'm at home!

 So how is everyone enjoying their day? I found a goodie from Transitional Kinder with Mrs. O, it's our inside look into the I Teach K! Conference. Yes I among many others are not at the Las Vegas conference this year. I am determined to be an attendee next year (as long as my principal does not try to move me again!)... only thing is I hate the pain in flying... Anywho, I wanted to share the find:

 It's an app to get the inside look on presentations and presenters during the conference. I was checking out some of the workshops and when you click on it, you can gain access to handouts! What?! A handout without even attending the workshop? Sure, it would have been great to sit in awe of the various exceptionally wonderful presenters while they share what works for our kinders, but hey we might find something we like and can implement on our own. It would have been more fun to attend, but I hope there will be next year. Enjoy your "visit" to the I Teach K! Conference right from the comforts of your own home. I'm playing Catch-Up!

 I am back from my mini-vacation. Technically I came back yesterday but I went straight to sleep upon returning home. I was exhausted! Boo rain!! Anywho, I went with two of my friends to see TRAIN, Michael Franti & Spearhead and Gavin DeGraw in Virginia Beach on Thursday! The wonderful blessing was that the rain held off during the concert:)

 So I missed quite a few things in blogland while on "vacation". But you just have to take that step away sometimes, but now I am playing "catch up". I just wanted to share some of my findings.

I found a new blog... Owl-ways Be Inspired... it's a blog for 2nd-3rd grade. But all the other grades are welcome to follow as you can always find something we can adapt. :)
